I can agree with that, even if it means that the ortho-para thing is not required (it could still be beneficial). This variance in POV may be somewhat more again to the difference between Pauling and Mulliken electronegativity, which is another piece in the puzzle, and further evidence that this is still an unsettled area of physics.

Obviously if ZPE can be demonstrated, it is totally outside of the mainstream.
