And this was Philip Winestone's original reply to me (asterisks replace
letters in words which are extremely common currency in Glasgow...)
<<I don't know what the f**k you are talking about; not a word... And I can
swear better than you because I'm from Glasgow. Assuming you can read
rationally, as opposed to your mouthing off, perhaps you ought to read the
rest of my posting, which was about the use of coal in more creative ways
than used to be done when I was growing up.
I presume you're one of the "green crowd," because from what I've seen
(note: not what I believe) they come up with meaningless rants like the one
you published below as a substitute for clear thinking. In fact, myself,
the little knowledged idiot, was, a few years ago, heavily into green
technology; one of the leading solar designers in Canada. In addition I was
doing engineering work in small hydro, biomass... all renewable energy
technologies. None of them were particularly applicable to Western
economies, but we had lots of so-called "green people" fleecing whatever
government agencies they could.
So don't tell me about these "clever people". I knew many of them, and they
were simply one small step above thieves.
So f**k you.>>
