I presume you're one of the "green crowd," because from what I've seen (note: not what I believe) they come up with meaningless rants like the one you published below as a substitute for clear thinking. In fact, myself, the little knowledged idiot, was, a few years ago, heavily into green technology; one of the leading solar designers in Canada. In addition I was doing engineering work in small hydro, biomass... all renewable energy technologies. None of them were particularly applicable to Western economies, but we had lots of so-called "green people" fleecing whatever government agencies they could.

So don't tell me about these "clever people". I knew many of them, and they were simply one small step above thieves.
