OK, here is the email in its entirety at the bottom with just a few
asterisks to protect the niceties. It's not that shocking. Remember
who set the tone first with their "green crowd" and "bigmouth" cracks.
FWIW I agree with Horace -- if an attack on another Vort isn't something
you're willing to publicly post then it shouldn't be sent at all. And
if it is something you're willing to publish, then you should send it to
the list so we can at least tell there's a flame war going on. Dragging
someone into an alley to beat them up privately is rude.
In the past, list members with unpopular ideas have actually been chased
out of the group by private email attacks. That is wrong (IMHO).
But on the other hand, for the most part, I also agree with Nick's
sentiments about global warming. (I doubt that will surprise anyone here.)
