Indeed, I find the "grok" fallout effect disturbing as well. But it seems to me that what you are describing here are the symptoms of a problem. What's the solution? What do we do after we "...understand this type of behavior?" I am trying to suggest one potential solution, hopefully a practical way to deal with such problems so that such calamities DON'T get out of hand in the future. In the end, I think it comes down to what Mr. Beaty has to say about the matter. In the end it's quite possible that my suggestion is not practical, but at least it's a suggestion! My two cents.
