Ah... "Classic Vortex" - Less sugar! The Chris Tinsley era must have been before my entrance onto the vortex-l scene. (Sorry I missed it.) I think I was cued into [Vo]'s existence approximately six to seven years ago. Would have to go through the archives to prove my conjecture. My only concern, and I suspect an expressed concern many others have voiced as well is: How much of a hassle (and additional pocket expenses) would it be for you to create and maintain another "classic", less sugary, vortex group? I believe Ed Storms and others have expressed legitimate concerns that adding another vortex group could turn out to be a time consuming affair for you to maintain. I think few of us wish to deliberately impose our posting predilections on you since it would end up being you who would have to maintain the system. Of course I have expressed (my) posting preferences... but if it's going to be a hassle for you... well shoot. Not worth it. Speaking just for me, if you don't think adding a "classic" vortex group would be that much of a problem for you to manage... I'm certainly cool with that. OTOH, I think it's important to point out the fact that many distinguished and respected participants have on more than one occasion expressed the opinion that vortex-l is just fine the way it is, including the inclusion of occasional discussions on political/religious material. I think the recent "sickness" vortex- caught has been dealt with. I personally think Vortex-l IS in the process of self-healing itself.
