100 to 1000 times cheaper than the emerging 1 USD per watt PV you think?

I wonder, wouldn't cheap, virtually maintenance-free PV plus very long
distance HVDC power transport lines (including in the East-West
direction to bring power from day time to night time places) do the
trick, without the need for CF, blacklight power or other exotic
technologies?
