I was there, but I do not recall they mentioned any problem with heat
transfer. As it happens, two of the people at NRL assisted me this morning
with information about reactor cores and so on. I often depend upon the
kindness of experts because I am prone to dropping orders of magnitude and
mixing up megawatts and megabytes.

I will forward this thread and ask them if they suspect the 130 kW may be
impossible from a heat transfer point of view. We did not discuss that. We
agreed, however, that the 16 kW is in line with a typical electric heater or
teapot. There is no disputing that.

You do realize, I hope, that Kullander et al. are experts.
