It would be a fun experiment to put hydrogen in a waveguide with a layer of nano-catalyst laying in it the far end from the magnetron, and surround it with a water jacket. Could drive with a 600 W microwave oven magnetron to obtain some degree of compatibility with Rossi's tests. Might be tricky to prevent resonance from destroying the magnetron. Also, would need a microwave window in the waveguide that could handle the hydrogen pressure, if above an atmosphere. The hard part of course is getting a good "catalyst".
