that $2000 / kW is not for household devices, but it is for megawatt scale
devices. For household devices cost is much much higher due to high
electricity production cost. Consideing the small scale of the reactor and
low maintanence costs, it is dirt cheap. For comparison, small scale 100 MW
nuclear power station costs around $3000 per kW and even for gigawatt+
nuclear power station the price tag is something close to 2 kilodollars per
kilowatt, if we consider all the delays.
