Why not start with a simple brass tube 20 cm long total, with a wall thickness of 1 cm. (Diagram B) If you can make the flow magically stop and start on the center-line then you can just use a radially symmetric model.

Case 1 :

Primary inlet : 10 kg/hour 100C water
Secondary outlet : 600 kg/hour 30 C water.

Case 2 :

Primary inlet : 10 kg/hour 100C 100% Dry steam
Secondary outlet : 600 kg/hour 30 C water.

If both of those show a negligible error then there's no need to go any further.
