I love this! It is a feel-good story. It is wonderful to see young people doing this.
As I said, even if they turn out to be wrong . . . hey, no big deal, good job, keep trying. If anyone should be allowed to make an experimental error it is a high school kid. I hope the claims are confirmed soon. The mass media may lap it up. As they should! - Jed
