Their historical record is incredibly impressive as is that of many other brilliant people who made our lives as they are. How convenient would a time machine be that would allow you to go back and see exactly what occurred in real time? You would have to promise not to modify the process unless you wanted to go away in a puff of smoke with the wrong helpful leak. There are many paradoxes that arise with use of a time machine and they are my main reason to question the possibility of its future invention.
