We're running voyage on Alix boards, using ethernet for network connectivity.
The default configuration has the default route going out eth0, so we don't
need to create any specific routes.

And keep in mind that each hop decrements the TTL, so even if the default route goes to a multicast enabled router, you just lost a hop.
Not a problem assuming TTL is set to a sensible value.
