All of us PalmOS users recognize what you describe as PalmGear's website,
except for Amiga!
Those crafty devils have tricked me into buying more shareware for my Visor
Deluxe than I would have ever thought I would, through the evils of instant
registration. :) and those shareware items that aren't instant downloads
usually have a scheme where you are emailed the reg code, usually within
hours.
If a site like this existed for the Amiga, I would be homeless now, and
begging at the door of the wealthy shareware owners I supported when I had
money. ;)
