I also fished the Noth fork, on sat morning. water was high, didn't catch
anything, was pissed of because a lot of spinners were there. I saw one of
them kicking one fish to release it. I saw another one catching and
keeping a steelhead, not huge. That was enough, I decided to drive to the
Sauk for the first time. I just drove and took a look for nice spots. I
fished for half an hour upstream of Darington (is the spelling OK????), a
fellow told me that the water was clear and lower just one hour before I
arrived, no luck. didn't see any fish, i'll go back next saturday.
