I fished Kayak Pt from 7 AM (when the gates open) until about 11 on a
rising tide. I kicked and rowed the pontoon boat - fast, slow, in close,
out far, deep & shallow with a variety of flies (sorry guys, I don't
know the names). Nada. The gear guys on the beach managed 2 pinks during
that time. It takes $3 for access and remember they WILL close you
behind the gates when the park closes at dusk. Anyone that wants to meet
up there early, late or during the day, email me. (I KNOW there are
fish to be caught!!!)
