Floated from Warm River down to Ashton this week....beautiful float through
creative art work, rock formations by Mother Nature viewed from my new
driftboat that performed very well. Big Salmon flies around and on the
water, but fish no longer keying on them. They started on the Henry's Fork
two weeks early (May 15) We got up 1/2 doz nice fish and missed all but
one. I caught several cutts on an elk haired caddis. Had my lab, pup in
the boat also and he did very well. Held a fly school, right along side the
Idaho Falls which was very special also...quite a place. The big stones
will be two weeks early on the South Fork also. We should see them around
the middle of June...I'll be there. Jere
