There are some steelhead to be had when the water level permits. I usually
stick with the basic bunny leech and marabou patterns when the water is
up. In lower water more sparse patterns can be used. There are not tons of
steelhead around but despite the lack of hatchery plants two years ago
there is still an opportunity. 
I looked at the water this morning and it was pretty high and flowing
fast. It rained most of the night at Whitehorse so it's probably back on
the rise again.
