Today I fished for about 3 hours on the Union River.  One spot dowstream of the bridge and four spots upstream.  There were chum in all the holes and some ripe silvers.  I used a chum candy and a chartreuse sheweys comet.  Hooked into three fish but didn't quite get 'em to shore.  That's ok though because the entire river is catch and release.  Hardest part about fishing here is there is no room to cast so it is all roll casting and there are a fair amount of blackberry bushes that like to try and eat my waders. Currently debating if I am going to try mintner creek or the dewatto river tomorrow, we'll see.   Flig
