thanks for the post kent.   it's important that we send letters and/or e-mails about these proposed regs (the total packet can be downloaded at www.wa.gov/wdfw) both for and against the specific proposals... especially the wild steelhead release with no exceptions proposal.    the e-mail link in the original post is an opportunity for a real easy way to make our voices as fishermen heard.  on the steelhead front, this is the opportunity that many of us have been waiting a long time for... so let's try to get as many letters, e-mails, etc. sent to the department.  if we don't speak up when given the opportunity, we can't complain about what's happening in fish management.   i'm planning on writing many letters.  there's such a broad number of rule proposals... from wild steelhead release to barbless hooks only in marine areas.  we've only got a couple weeks left to make our opinions known.   chris
