James, how many other boats/fishermen in that Yakima section when you floated it? What day? Thanks Gary Meyers Kirkland Anyone tried fishing the Green near Flaming Geyser lately? Fished the Yakima last weekend with a friend.  Caught 18 (me 7, he 11), all Rainbows, 11 - 14 in. with one 16.  Gold Ribbed Hare's Ears were very popular (12 -14).  The water was of course, very low.  We floated through the Canyon from Red's to Rosa.  Good weather, no hatch.  Best news, no smolts.  Had to row the last mile + due to onsetting darkness, a head wind, and low current closer to the damn.  Picked up my last bow inadvertently "trolling" as I left the fly touching the water while rowing.  We did spot one monster at least 20 + inches.  Not sure if it was a big bow or a Salmon, just saw it for an instant 3 feet from the pontoon boat.
