Ahh thanks Phil,

Just what I was going to point out, we'll never be happy with the speed of
our machines, after using a new one for a couple of hours, it starts to feel
sluggish, its not the machine slowing down, we're just getting used to it.

I like the speed of OS X, I don't find any slowness at all, and I work on a
533 Dual at work on 9.2, and have a 450 Dual at home running X.

Probably the most interesting thing is I find very little speed difference
between my two machines (not including Quake, but that¹s also a video card
issue).

Cheers, Paul

Wasn't BEoS just a (draws breath) hobbyist OS, were there any drivers, apps,
was it able to be used commercially (other than linux type servers) please
excuse my ignorance, I've never seen it run, although I've heard a lot about
it.

Cheers, Paul
