Ahh thanks Phil, Just what I was going to point out, we'll never be happy with the speed of our machines, after using a new one for a couple of hours, it starts to feel sluggish, its not the machine slowing down, we're just getting used to it.
I like the speed of OS X, I don't find any slowness at all, and I work on a 533 Dual at work on 9.2, and have a 450 Dual at home running X. Probably the most interesting thing is I find very little speed difference between my two machines (not including Quake, but that¹s also a video card issue).
