Airport

Like Houston I have a problem :-(  I have a Netgear  wireless router  
DG834G and an Airport Express which cover my house for the  
laptops :-)  They have worked well esp. since I got the netgear  
router. Now all of a sudden neither appear to be working, maybe  
because I HAVE 10.4.4    In the place of the usual airport bars I  
have  a tree with greyed out bars behind.    Can someone make any  
sensible suggestions. Both laptops have the same thing and both work  
on ethernet.  JiWire shows nothing in the way of signal. BTW cant  
wait to see my mates who mocked me when I bought appleshares :-)
