Just a note on the iPhone and warranty in Australia. It is not an
Australian product and Apple and it's retailers can not provide
warranty on this product at the moment.
The amount of angry customers I have had come in because they do not
know all the facts about the iPhone is quite high. Do make sure you
check as many user forums as you can about people using it here, the
user experience seems to differ vastly.
Personally I have not heard about the iPhone coming out so soon, I'm
guessing that date in Feb is to coincide with the opening of the
Sydney Apple store? I don't think we will see the iPhone in Australia
till it is a 3G phone but as is always the case with Apple, we do not
know until they announce it.
