Hi Jim, You MUST have the Power Cord plugged power & your MBP. Also good to have the MBP fully charged and into Power.
I suggest you follow these instructions: 1. Restart your MacBook Pro 2. Go to this link & Download it from here and then run it: <http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1331> 3. Your MacBook Pro will restart Let us know if this corrects your problem please.
