I'm pursuing an issue of Safari unexpectedly quitting. I find the Apple support paper confusing.
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3230 The article appears to differentiate between Safari Plug-Ins and Add-Ons. Are they different things? How can I determine if I have any add-ons installed? I can see several plug-ins in the libraries. Advice to "remove any unsupported third-party add-ons" is not very helpful. How do I tell if third-party add-ons are supported? As background, my observations of Safari unexpectedly quitting point to Mail as the suspect, but I'm being careful and going through the Apple official documented support process first. I know that I can disable Safari Extensions and Plug-ins via the respective Preferences settings for testing.
