eTax for Mac is here with no problems as far as I can see and that is great.
Another snag has emerged from the mire. For years I have used ECI Client for
lodging GST and that has been great. For a variety of reasons, and on the
advice of the ATO, I have done as I have meant to do and switched to using the
Business Portal. After much carrying on, installing Oracle Java etc I have
finally been able to download and install my Auskey. Interestingly, I can not
see any sight of it, or the Auskey software anywhere. The real annoyance is
that Safari hangs at the Authentication Screen, however I can proceed with
Firefox. Popups are disabled (Firefox was neat on that issue, giving me a
query for designated disabling) and all other things are equal as far as I can
see. 10.8.4 and Safari 6.0.5
I am sure some experienced portallers out there can give me a pointer.
