Hi Severin, I wrote them a letter, you know the type with paper and a stamp, outlining these problems and the very succinct steps their own online operator had described to me, but were previously no where to be found on their site. I suggested they do something about this, ie. simply putting online what their operators already know. I've not checked to see what has changed, but I'd like to think I made some kind of difference.
I agree with what you found that Firefox is the browser to choose when interacting with the ATO, and Safari is clearly not. Pleased it worked out for you.
