No need to be sorry. ;)

And I am glad that someone cares and tries to give input.

But actually I only used MSVC, because I wasn't able to get GCC to 
crosscompile at that time. Now that I got that working and I found out that 
WINE can do some magic, too, I feel like I don't have to switch over to 
Windows anymore. ;)

If M$ would release MSVC for Linux, I would probably use it again, as it is a 
IMO superior IDE...
