I also love the Goober Video. Very nice. I also enjoyed seeing a
snippet of Goober on the TVland Awards show, in conjunction with Hee
Haw. We also saw some scenes from our favorite show, though very brief.
That Annual awards show seems to have lost some of its luster.

The questions about Floyd's family are interesting and probably
frustrating to the casual fan. I believe every time a family member of
Floyd's is mentioned, or shown, it is a one-time occurrence and totally
inconsistent with other references (Floyd being married and a widower).
This was the 60s remember, and they did not keep track of those things
very well from year to year, or sometimes episode to episode. I don't
believe Floyd's sax-o-phone playing son is given a name.(He is referred
to only as son, the boy, my son) so it may or may be Norman the
legendary dropsy baseball player.

It is Goober that applies to the Dating service, not Gomer, is the very
last episode filmed "A Girl for Goober". Everything else you remembered
about it Martha, was correct.

Others will probably mention this, but there is a nice article in the
Sunday paper circular on Ron Howard's daughter Bryce Dallas Howard, and
her prominent role in Spiderman 3 which open soon. They even discuss
what a low-key guy Ron still is.

Jessica, concerning the pictures on the DVD's and the covers, yes they
did mix season's a bit. Its just like Aunt Bee's pickles, though. You
learn to love 'em.
