To me Warren's character was just plain annoying (I know, I am treading 
on one of the rules, but he ASKED!) However, I have often thought if 
they had downplayed Warren's role and focused more on the other 
citizens, working Warren in where he would be an ensemble player but 
not such a major role like Barney was, then he might have worked in 
more naturally to the fabric of life in Mayberry and not been such a 
glaring addition. Just MHO. Hey, hindsight is a wonderful thing!
