Actually you can get domain registration for under $9 with services such as url forwarding, email forwarding that you used to have to pay extra for if it was available at all.
Of all the registrars I've ever dealt with either for domain's I've registered or ones clients have registered the one that was most difficult to deal with was Network Solutions/Verisign. Cheryl D. In recent years they have been forced to give up their monopoly on this asset, as was agreed upon at the time they were given the privilege. For obvious reasons, they were reluctant to share the pie. Competition and a free market economy at work, now I've seen domain registration as cheap as about $10/yr., with a multi-year contract paid in advance. It was $50 a year with a two year payment required when Network Solutions had sole control. I thought it was still an incredible value then! ____ The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM ____ To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To change subscription settings to the wdvltalk digest version: http://wdvl.internet.com/WDVL/Forum/#sub ________________ http://www.wdvl.com _______________________ You are currently subscribed to wdvltalk as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
