It could be that InfoSeek just happens to love the ? symbol, but all the
other SEs don't -- but I'd think that Danny Sullivan (Mr. Searchenginewatch
himself) would know this and would say so. (On the other hand, maybe he
just hasn't put that specific bit of info on the SEW site.)
I'll check in my book from WebPosition and the Search Engine Secrets book
(Planet Ocean) and see if they say anything any differently, but my advice
is to do as search engine watch says and avoid pages with ? symbols in the
URLs.
