Take a look at Selena Sol. I would not suggest using his but you could grab 
some ideas.

I just did (I too will want a calendar program). I saw some really neat javascript 
stuff at developer.netscape.com.  But here is something I just saw (haven't 
checked it out yet). I have used Selena Sols and something was always 
breaking and it was a nightmare to debug.

Ugh, I did a quick look at it.  I don't know. This might be better done in java or 
at least with some javascript. I am tired of refreshing screens all the time.
