What is a robot 'trap'? I know about some of the robot exclusions, but not
the traps.

Very good idea! That's actually quite similar to what cmtgroup.com does
with their links. They call it 'Search without Predudice' because it's
actually a combination search engine/FFA links list so meta tags don't matter.
