A robot trap... is an invisible file reference, be it via A - /A tags
with no text, or within comment fields. Often made to a file that does
not exist, so that it will not be placed in a search engine catalog. The
robot is then detected when it asks for that invisible file.

Some have refined the process by providing a file full of random
e-mail names referencing non-existant domain names... Or pehrhaps
auto-responders that notify their ISP's???

Well, you do want to keep it within the match grade band so that a
search for "blue bottle fly" will still have all the three word links
above the two word links.
