I most definitely agree. I think the smaller the company, the greater the
level of creativity that goes into a project. The more people that get
involved, the more cumbersome and awkward a project becomes. Adding people
certainly doesn't speed up a project or make for greater efficiency. It
only slows it down. I've noticed that when Dave and I works on a Web
project for ourselves or for a client who doesn't want to be involved, we
can knock out a cohesive, high quality site in two or three weeks. Add
clients or co-workers to the equation, and we can count on the project
getting drawn out to two or three months.  I prefer to turn to other people
only for technical stuff that we can't  do ourselves.
