I put together the code that makes http://www.ottawaweb.com/ work in a couple of
days and it uses an Access database and Cold Fusion. The SPORTQuest site I work
on has over 14,000 records in an Access database.
I've also talked with clients who have told me that they've had a developer
working on a perl / msql or mysql system for over a year with no success.
I think we sometimes need to step back from the problem/solution to see whether
it's the tools or the people involved that are the problem ...
