PHP looks intrigueing, but I didn't see any information on obtaining it.
Is it only
available through logicnet.com, or is it commercial, or what? The reason I'm
learning and using Miva is because it is provided free by my host provider
(MPC)
and has a short learning curve. Although I've programmed databases since
1984 (using compiled cBasic on a CP/M machine), I'm just beginning to use
them with web pages. I've worked with FoxPro 5.0, but haven't gotten into its
web capabilities (very steep learning curve!)
By the way, logicnet.com has another URL that is an *excellent* reference file
and tutorial for beginning HTML programmers at
http://www.cee.odu.edu/html/html_toc.html that may be of interest to others
on this list as a place to send new web designers.
Thanks for the tip.
