It's home page is http://www.php.net/ and it's free.

The site has some neat "popup dialog" forms driven by a mouseover.

I have to give a confernece session next week where one of the faculty
lecturers will be "interviewing" me about the use of relational DB's and
the web, tools etc. I use CF but as that may be too expensive for schools
(Asian financial crisis etc) I was keeping an eye out for similiar
free/cheap systems. I did know about PHP and thanks for the Miva reference.

The reason I'm being "interviewed" is that I don't know exactly the details
of the syllabus for the subject that the schools want to use it in... the
lecturer does, so he'll be my translator. :)

Are there any other free systems that upper level students could use?

thanks
Bruce
