This script is available in Tom Negrino and Dori Smith's JavaScript for the
World Wide Web, Visual Quickstart Guide, 2nd edition. At $17.95, less your
20% business discount at Barnes & Noble, it's a great buy. There's no disc
included, but all scripts are downloadable from the book's Web site.
I've used it extensively in the kayaking section of
http://www.endlessriveradventures (click a slide show icon) and in the
"characters" section of http://www.tenderlovingcare.cc
Note: originally I used Tom & Dori's slide show script with both sites, but
found that it isn't widely browser-compatible. Last week I eliminated the
slide show script on Tender Loving Care and replaced it with html pages for
each slide (targeted to the parent window, i.e., the pop-up). Eventually
I'll get around to doing the same thing for the Endless River slide shows
(which their readers LOVE!!!).
