You mean the HW I suppose???
Well it depends on what you want from that server...
NT is a really resource demanding OS.
If you don't plan to install things like SQL server, mail services,
printing services etc... you can resolve your problem with a low
level pentium with not that much RAM a good network adapter and
a not to expensive HD.
>From my experience things that improve performance on that kind
of system are in order
1) RAM
2) HD
3) CPU (AMD/Cyrix seems to not perform that good on NT
UNFORTUNATELY)
A 800/900$ system could work well enough as a starting point!
I think there are more experienced people than me on the list but if
you'll be more specific I'll try to give you better advices since I'm
also interested in that topic and this could be an occasion to
improve my knowledge.
As for the SW NT comes with IIS 4 for "free" at least the Server
version.
The workstation comes with PWS and you'll need to install some
other freely aviable packs to have some nice tools that are included
in IIS 4.
