I'm not brainwashed by MS. We have just been sponsorized. We
sell their books. We didnt pay their SW (NT server, MS SQL, MS
Commerce). We didn't pay the dual PPro machine. We didn't pay
the housing and the first phase of the developement of our
commerce application.
Since I have (must) work with this SW. I know it better than I know
Linux so I can describe its "features".
I know that a P133 Linux box wil serve HTML/DB files really MUCH
faster then my setup with NT I was just saying that at least it works
at a nearly sufficient speed (sufficient for my developing purpose)...
We are using a 9000$ machine (at least) as our server!!! Well it
works.
BTW don't tell this to MS but I, as a professional, don't suggest to
people to deploy NT as their OS :-).
