Perhaps that's true today.  But it's short-sighted to think that it'll
stay that way.  Have you noticed that articles on Linux have made
the front page of Internet Week, Interactive Age, InfoWorld, and
PC Week in the last month?  Have you noticed the ruckus being
made by the iMac?  Have you noticed the continuing delays in
NT 5.0 (now two years late) and the massive security holes
in Windows exposed by BackOrifice?

Microsoft has run into a buzz saw.  Even if you've based your
business on their products from Day 1 until now, it's time to
get busy finding alternatives.  Or you can stubbornly remain
with their third-rate products and enjoy the ride to the bottom
with them.

Besides, platform-specific implementations are contrary to the spirit
of open standards which built the 'net.  This is NOT how we do
things around here.
