Laughing... I've started a fight :-)
Anyway if you want to convince people just to try Linux/Unix you
should be just a little bit less aggressive...
Let them know you have experience with both give them
suggestion on how to accomplish what they asked for on a Win
box and then tell them how the same thing could be done on a
Unix box...
I have a very short experience on Linux (since as I said I'm
trapped... I indirectly work and I'm sponsored by MS)... but if we
think how much does it cost to put up web server with DB support
with NT and Linux well... you can invest the money you'll save in an
expert consultant that will be able to transform a Linux system in a
zero training system and in a lot of nice harware...
BTW each time I get another box it seem it won't be a linux box...
When I got my second box I needed a NT machine to test my ASP
programs, when I got my third machine... my mother ask for a
computer... I hope the 4th will be the stable (no multi boot, I don't
want that NT kill my Linux) Linux box...
The 4th box is near anyway... MS addicts pay well ;-)
