Hi Jack,
I finally got those frame borders turned off. I think the problem was that
I'd forgotten about NS's perversity about wanting you to re-open the file
to see changes to the layout instead of just reloading (it's been two years
since I've done frames). I turned off the computer to go to dinner and when
I got back and started up NS again, "Voila! eet worked!" Hopefully one day
I'll be able to do frames as easily as I do tables but I'm not there yet --
the logic is just totally beyond me right now. I've read all the tutorials
and none of them make it any clearer.
>That's a mighty ambitious frameset! I must admit I can't quite figure out
>what you're trying to do. Can you mock up the rectangles in a single gif,
>stick it on a server and supply an url?
Done, and I hope you aren't sorry you asked. I stuck up both the current
version of the page (top) which works sort of OK and a mockup of how I'd
really like it to work (bottom). I added the pink lines to show you where
the frames are divided.

Besides the layout problem, what's the syntax for telling, "hosting.gif"
(in the bottom left frame) to open "hosting.html" in frame A?
thanks for all your help. Suz

Here's the current HTML (I probably don't need all those repetitions of the
'no border' instructions but I'm not about to change it now while it's
working!):
<FRAMESET BORDER=0 frameborder="no" frameborder="0" framespacing="0"
rows="140,*">
<FRAME SRC="logo.html" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="no"
border="0" framespacing="0" scrolling="no">
<FRAMESET COLS="128,*" BORDER=0 frameborder="no" frameborder="0"
framespacing="0">
<FRAME SRC="navbar.html" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0"
frameborder="no" border="0" framespacing="0" scrolling="no">
<FRAME SRC="design.html" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0"
frameborder="no" border="0" framespacing="0" scrolling="yes" resize="no">
</FRAMESET>
</FRAMESET>
