Many thanks to all of you who've checked my page at
http://www.endlessriveradventures.com/guestbookframes.html for error
messages. Everyone I've heard from has had no problems accessing it (all
from PCs).
When I try to access it from a Netscape bookmark on my Mac, I get an older
version of the page with an error message. When I go first to the home
page, then click on the guestbook link, I get an updated version of the
page, with this error message:

Not Found
The requested URL /alkhemic/guestbook.pl was not found on this
server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying
to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
*********************************
I've done everything in the world I can think of to clear this monster from
the cache, including going into the cache folder in the System Folder and
dumping all the cache files in the trash by hand.
Awhile back we talked about proxy servers. Does it sound like I might be
getting a proxy instead of the real thing? Or could this be a problem with
the way the server is configured (the IPP is new to Unix, so there's no
telling what she's done). I can't find anything in Netscape preferences to
tell it not to accept proxies. Is there such a beast in NS4/Mac?
