Hi All,

I just came across and tested an interesting little service:

http://www.pagoo.com/

I wrote this blurb for my Ma, who is a one-phone-line gal:

It's called Pagoo. It provides a way for people to call you while you're
online...without you having to add an extra phone line.

You sign up for the service, install some software, then give your friends
the Pagoo toll-free phone number. If someone tries to call you on your
regular line and gets a busy signal (because you're online), they can call
the Pagoo toll-free number, enter your phone number (or another number that
you determine during setup) when prompted, press the pound key, then leave
up to a 30 second message for you. While you're online, a little program
(the Pagoo "Desktop Agent") that runs on your system will notify you when
you get a new message. You can then play the message while you're still
online (assuming you have speakers).

They offer a 14-day free trial, with a 20 message limit. After that, it's
$3.33 a month, one year due at signup.

I'm not affiliated with the Pagooey people in any way.

Jack
