Yes, you can buy an additional keyboard (infrared, no cables) so you just
sit with the board in your lap and type.

WebTV is great for non-computer people. I sent one to my mom for Christmas
several years ago and she loves it. She reads newspapers in France; cruises
around the web, and sends me email and articles. My parents travel quite a
bit and she uses the web to do airline, car rental, and hotel reservations
and also check on events, restaurants, and museums in the destination city.
My brother tried it and bought one for himself.

Zero installation, zero administration. Just use it.
