Please understand, everyone, that we are NOT, repeat NOT buying a computer
for Dad. No matter what the price, how good a deal. The last one we got for
him ended up as a dust collector on the closet floor, so we are not
throwing any more money into that particular closet.
Thanks for your input, but I was really, truly, and seriously ONLY asking
for input on WebTV and its similar competitors. I've gotten lots of great
input from folks who've bought WebTV for their parents, and almost without
exception, have received glowing reviews of WebTV as an ideal platform for
non-computing elderly parents.
